Our Team

Dr Gary Wu graduated from the University of Otago in 2003 and completed his GP registrar training in Hamilton/Te Awamutu, passing the Royal NZ College of GPs primary exam in 2006.
Before entering general practice, he worked in Dunedin Public Hospital and Sydney’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Gary has special interests in minor surgery, paediatrics, chronic conditions, and health promotion.
He moved to New Zealand at age 15 and speaks English, Mandarin, and other two dialects. He is also active in the community, delivering health education sessions on topics like cardiovascular disease.

Dr Cathlyna Saavedra graduated with distinction from the University of Auckland in 2018, earning awards in paediatrics and surgery. She conducted research in cardiology, dermatology, oncology, and haematology and worked across several specialties at Auckland City Hospital, Middlemore Hospital, and Waikato Hospital. Cathlyna is a compassionate GP who takes a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Outside work, she enjoys baking, travelling, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Dr Hilary Goh graduated from the University of Auckland in 2018. She gained experience working at Auckland City Hospital and Starship Children’s Hospital before joining The Doctors Greenlane as a GP Registrar.
Originally from Singapore, Hilary moved to New Zealand with her family in 2013 and is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Dr Joanne Gao graduated from the University of Auckland in 2013 and has worked across various hospital specialties in New Zealand, including a year in Internal Medicine. She is a member of the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care with a focus on managing urgent medicine and accidents. Dr Gao speaks both English and Cantonese.
